At Motherhood University, Roorkee, a heartfelt homage was offered to those who tragically lost their lives in the Pahalgam terrorist attack.
A condolence meeting was held at the university, during which Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Narendra Sharma strongly condemned the heinous terrorist attack and prayed for the speedy recovery of those who were injured. Expressing deep sorrow, he stated, “In this hour of grief, I pray to the Almighty to grant strength to the bereaved families to endure this immense loss. The incident at Pahalgam is extremely condemnable, and the Government of India must respond firmly to such barbaric acts.”
Prof. Sharma further remarked that the entire nation is mourning the tragic loss, and every citizen has been deeply saddened by the incident. He expressed full confidence in the government’s ability to take strict action and ensure that those responsible for this attack are brought to justice.
The teachers, officials, staff members, and students of Motherhood University collectively condemned the attack in strong words. The condolence program witnessed the presence of Administrative Director Mr. Deepak Sharma, Registrar Mr. Ajay Gopal Sharma, Controller of Examinations Mr. Anupam Gupta, Deans of all faculties, and distinguished members of the teaching staff.
The event concluded with a shared resolve among all attendees to stand united against terrorism and to support every effort toward national peace and security.
